These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules for using Yakja (“Yakja”, “we”, “our”, “Platform”). They apply to all users, including Customers, Sellers/Stores, and Couriers/Delivery Partners.

1) Clear meaning (definitions)

  • Customer: a person who browses or places an order.
  • Seller/Store: a business that lists and sells products/services on Yakja.
  • Courier/Delivery Partner: a person who delivers orders using Yakja’s delivery workflow.
  • Order: a purchase request placed through the Platform.
  • Content: text, images, prices, and other information shown on the Platform.

2) Acceptance of these Terms

  • By creating an account, applying as a Seller/Courier, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
  • If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

3) Account and eligibility

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it updated.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Keep your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support immediately.

4) What Yakja does (Platform role)

  • Yakja provides technology to connect Customers, Sellers, and Couriers.
  • Sellers are responsible for product availability, pricing, quality, and lawful sale of items.
  • Couriers are responsible for safe and professional delivery according to Platform instructions.

5) Payment methods

  • Available payment methods are shown during checkout.
  • You agree to pay the full amount shown at checkout (items + applicable fees).
  • Some payment methods may be available only in certain zones or for certain order types.

6) Prohibited and restricted items

Yakja does not allow listing, selling, purchasing, or delivering items that are illegal or restricted under applicable laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs/narcotics and related items
  • Alcohol and illegal intoxicants
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, and related components
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Stolen goods or counterfeit products
  • Hazardous chemicals or dangerous materials (unless specifically allowed and handled safely)
  • Items that violate intellectual property rights (pirated/copyright-infringing goods)

Restricted items (such as certain medicines or regulated products) may be allowed only from authorized sellers and may require legal documents or verification. Yakja may remove listings, cancel orders, suspend accounts, and report matters to authorities if required by law.

7) Customer rules (ordering and delivery)

  • Orders depend on availability in your delivery zone and the Seller’s stock.
  • If an item is unavailable, the Seller or support may contact you about alternatives or partial fulfillment.
  • You must provide a correct delivery address and be reachable by phone.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may change due to traffic, weather, demand, or store preparation time.

8) Cancellations, returns, and refunds

  • Cancellations are handled under our Cancellation Policy.
  • Refunds and replacements are handled under our Refund Policy.
  • Some categories (food, perishables, medicine) may have stricter rules for safety and quality.

9) Seller/Store rules

  • Truthful listings: product name, photo, price, quantity, and details must be accurate.
  • Quality and safety: do not sell expired, damaged, or unsafe items. Follow hygiene and storage best practices.
  • Lawful business: you must have any required licenses/permissions for regulated products.
  • No prohibited items: you must not list or attempt to sell prohibited items.
  • Order handling: prepare orders on time and cooperate with delivery handover.
  • Customer support: respond reasonably to disputes and refund requests through Yakja’s process.

10) Courier/Delivery Partner rules

  • Safety first: follow traffic rules, drive/ride safely, and treat customers respectfully.
  • Order care: do not open, tamper with, or misuse items in transit.
  • Privacy: customer information (address/phone/order details) must be kept confidential.
  • No prohibited items: you must not deliver prohibited items and must follow Platform instructions if you suspect prohibited content.
  • Proof of delivery: complete the delivery steps required in the app (verification, confirmation, etc.).

11) User conduct (everyone)

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for illegal activity
  • Commit fraud, abuse promotions, or manipulate orders
  • Harass or threaten Sellers, Couriers, customers, or support staff
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Platform

12) Intellectual property

Yakja’s logos, software, and Platform design are protected. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.

13) Service limitations

We aim to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, Yakja is not responsible for indirect losses caused by delays, outages, or events outside our reasonable control.

14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15) Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws and regulations in the jurisdiction where the service is provided.
